Want More Real TikTok Followers?

You never want your social media accounts to get hacked. Yes, it’s even worse than getting banned. What’s the first thing you need to do if somebody else logs in to your TikTok? The answer is to kick them out as soon as possible. Learn how to log someone out of your TikTok account.

How to Log Out of TikTok

Most of us don’t bother logging out of our accounts when we’re done using them. Going back online is simply more convenient when you stay logged in. However, there are instances when you should always log out to keep your account secure.

For example, if you’re using a public or shared computer, you must always log out after every session. Clear your browsing history for added measure. If you have to leave your device for an extended period, logging out of your accounts is also a good idea.

Here’s how to log out of TikTok:

  1. Go to your Profile and tap the Menu in the upper right.
  2. Go to Settings and Privacy.
  3. Scroll all the way to the bottom, and tap Log out.

How to Log Someone Out of Your TikTok Account and Regain Account Access

What if your device gets stolen? Or perhaps you become a victim of phishing or hacking. One of the first things you need to do is access your account ASAP and change your passwords. Time is especially critical when you’ve linked your accounts across multiple devices. You also need to log out from other devices to kick out anybody else who has gained access.

Mobile devices are wrapped in a chain to keep them secure.

TikTok Logout All Devices and Reset Passwords

Before performing a TikTok logout from all devices, you must reset all your account passwords. Here’s how to reset your TikTok password:

  1. Access your TikTok as soon as possible using one of your connected devices. Alternatively, you can use a non-connected device if you know your TikTok account information.
  2. If you’re still able to access your TikTok account, go to your Profile and tap the Menu in the upper right.
  3. Go to Settings and Privacy.
  4. Tap Account.
  5. Tap Password.
  6. Change your password.

How to Log Out Your TikTok Account From Other Devices

After changing your password, you need to log out from all linked devices. Here’s how:

  1. Go to your Profile, then tap the Menu in the upper right corner.
  2. Tap Settings and Privacy.
  3. Tap Security.
  4. Tap Manage devices.
  5. Tap Delete on all devices that you want to log out of.

Logging out of all linked devices will kick out anybody else who has accessed your account without permission. Because you already changed your password, they won’t be able to log back in. Make sure to do the same with all other online accounts, including your email accounts.

How To Tell if You Have a Compromised Account

How do you know if you have a compromised account? Watch out for these signs:

  • You receive an email or SMS notification that says someone changed your password or linked phone number, but it wasn’t you.
  • You notice that your account username or nickname is different, but you didn’t change it.
  • You notice that some of your videos are gone, and you didn’t delete them.
  • There are new posts on your account that you didn’t publish.
  • You have messages from your inbox that you didn’t write.

If you notice any suspicious activities above, reset your password immediately. Then, remove all devices you’re using for your TikTok account.

For added security, enable TikTok’s two-step verification. Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Profile, then tap the Menu in the upper right corner.
  2. Tap Settings and Privacy.
  3. Tap Security.
  4. Tap 2-step verification to turn it on. When enabled, TikTok will require an additional verification code when you log in from a new/unrecognized device.
  5. Select at least two methods for verification.

How To Grow Your TikTok Safely

Account hacking is too common, unfortunately. Ransomware and phishing are serious concerns for anybody with an online presence. The internet is also teeming with sites that trick users into providing their social media login information. Some growth services are a good example of such sites.

If you’re a creator on TikTok looking to buy views, followers, or engagement, you may easily fall victim to fake services. You should know how to identify legit growth agencies and those who only want to steal your information. If a site asks you to log into your TikTok account, leave immediately and never look back.

The safest way to grow your account is, of course, by doing it organically. Sometimes, the process is slow. Many times, you’ll encounter obstacles to growth. But with a consistent and optimized content strategy, TikTok’s algorithm will always work in your favor. One of the biggest reasons that TikTok is so popular is that it listens to what users want. And if you also listen to what your target audience wants, TikTok will help you reach them.

You can still get expert help from a growth service without compromising your account’s security. You won’t have to use your knowledge of how to log someone out of your TikTok account when you choose a trustworthy company.
