Why Am I Not Getting TikTok Notifications?
It’s always exciting to receive new notifications after sharing a new post. Perhaps it received a lot of likes and comments. Maybe you gained new followers from it. If you’re following your favorite celebrity on TikTok, you may also want to receive alerts about their latest videos. But there’s a problem: Why am I not getting TikTok notifications?
There are three ways to receive notifications for TikTok:
- TikTok push notifications.
- In-app alerts.
- Inbox notifications.
If you’re not receiving TikTok alerts, make sure you’ve set up your TikTok notification settings to your preferences. Here are other potential answers to the mystery of your missing TikTok alerts:
- You’re not looking in the right place: All TikTok app notifications go directly to your inbox.
- By default, your device does not enable push notifications: You need to enable them manually.
- You need to update your TikTok app: You may need to change your device settings so that it updates TikTok automatically any time an update is available.
- You need to update your device OS: Again, your device may not have updated automatically when an update was available.
TikTok is having system issues: If this is the case, you simply have to wait it out.
