Depending on your other privacy settings, profile visitors may access your Liked videos, Bookmarked posts, and TikTok Favorites.

Follow these steps to switch to a Private account:

Go to your Profile by tapping the profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Select Settings and privacy.
Tap Privacy.
Tap the toggle next to Private account to make your account private.

Only approved users can follow you and access your content when you turn on the private account setting. However, all your followers prior to your switch to a private account will remain. You may have to go through your Follower list to manually remove users you don’t want to have access to your profile.

With a Private account, non-followers can still find you on TikTok and view your profile. They’ll see your number of Followers and the number of accounts you’re following, but they won’t be able to view these lists.
